Barthe Cortes, 2016Authorities accuse Barthe Cortes of supporting rebels who act against government

The government of Sudan impedes Barthe Cortes’s cargo airlines’ provision of supplies to the peace-keeping forces in Darfur.

“The authorities interfere with BVC exercising its responsibilities and do not respect their responsibilities towards BVC. This is already a several week problem and it should change” – says BVC lawyer.

The government in Khartoum rejects these accusations.

After many years’ flight ban over Sudan, thanks to two-year mediations, Khartoum and BVC managed to bury the hatchet.

For now, it is unknown whether the flights will be banned again or the parties will come to an agreement.

Unofficially, it is said that the authorities accuse Barthe Cortes of supporting the rebels who act against Sudanese government dominated by Arabs.
